High Pressure Apparatuses

A diamond anvil cell (diameter = 20 mm x  height = 32 mm) for electrical/thermal transport measurements under high-pressure, low-temperature, and high-magnetic field in our PPMS. Wires coming from the DAC connect the sample to a measurement system. The whole body and screws are made of non-magnetic Si-Al-Bronze alloy.
* The DAC was developed at UT based on the design by Gavriliuk et al. published in Rev. Sci. Instruments 80, 043906 (2009).
